Sri Sri University Expands Its Indian Knowledge Systems Ecosystem with Two Strategic Partnerships

Strengthening education, research, innovation, and civilizational learning through collaborations with Siddhanta Knowledge Foundation and Brhat Educational Trust

In a significant step towards advancing the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) and revitalizing India's rich knowledge traditions, Sri Sri University (SSU) has signed two strategic Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with leading organizations working in the field of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS). Through its Faculty of Eastern Knowledge Systems (FEKS), the University has partnered with Siddhanta Knowledge Foundation (SKF), Chennai, and Brhat Educational Trust (BET), Hyderabad, reinforcing its commitment to creating an academic ecosystem where India's timeless wisdom meets contemporary education and research. These collaborations mark an important milestone in the journey of Sri Sri University for integrating the civilizational heritage of India into higher education, while preparing students and scholars to address present-day social, cultural, environmental and policy challenges through indigenous knowledge frameworks.

A Partnership with Siddhanta Knowledge Foundation: Bringing Indian Knowledge Systems to Campus Life

On 9 June 2026, Sri Sri University signed an MoU with Siddhanta Knowledge Foundation (SKF), Chennai, to promote the integration and practical application of Indian Knowledge Systems across academic programs and student engagement initiatives.

The partnership will focus on embedding IKS into undergraduate and postgraduate curricula, conducting Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), organizing training workshops, and hosting conclaves and academic discussions dedicated to Indic knowledge traditions.

One of the most exciting outcomes of this collaboration is the establishment of a Learning Center on the Sri Sri University campus. Envisioned as a vibrant hub for experiential learning, the center will facilitate student clubs, Indic games, wellness initiatives, internships, research and incubation support, faculty exchange programmes, and community engagement activities. By creating opportunities beyond the classroom, the Learning Center will enable students to experience Indian Knowledge Systems as a dynamic, living tradition that continues to evolve and contribute to modern society.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Dr. Tej Pratap, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, and Dr. Kesari Singh, Dean – Research and Academics. Dr. Bharat Dash, Officer In-Charge, Faculty of Eastern Knowledge Systems, signed on behalf of Sri Sri University, while Shri T.R. Srinivasan, Deputy Director, Shri Vikram Jhunjhunwala, Regional Manager, and Shri Abhisek Kundu, Area Manager, represented Siddhanta Knowledge Foundation.

Collaboration with Brhat Educational Trust: Advancing Research and Public Discourse

Building on this momentum, Sri Sri University entered into another strategic partnership on 10 June 2026 with Brhat Educational Trust (BET), Hyderabad, through an online MoU signing ceremony. The collaboration is designed to create a comprehensive ecosystem for education, research, mentorship, and capacity building in Indian Knowledge Systems. The partnership will encourage interdisciplinary engagement across areas such as faculty development, curriculum enrichment, civilizational studies, public policy, entrepreneurship, decolonisation studies, student mentorship, and research rooted in Indic knowledge traditions.

Both institutions will jointly organize workshops, conferences, seminars, discussions, and academic engagements that promote deeper understanding of India's intellectual heritage while encouraging research-driven approaches to contemporary cultural, educational, and policy challenges. The MoU also envisions nurturing student talent, encouraging Dharmic and civilizational perspectives in academic discourse, and building innovative educational frameworks that connect India's ancient wisdom with modern academic inquiry.

Representing Sri Sri University were Dr. Tej Partap, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Dr. Kesari Singh, Dean - Research and Academics, and Dr. Bharat Dash, Officer In-Charge, Faculty of Eastern Knowledge Systems, who signed the agreement on behalf of the University. Brhat Educational Trust was represented by Shri Raghava Krishna, Founder & CEO, Dr. Anurag Shukla, Director - IKS Education and Public Policy, and Ms. Kavita Krishna Meegama, Director - University Relations.

Reinforcing the Vision of Sri Sri University for Indian Knowledge Systems

Together, these two collaborations significantly strengthen Sri Sri University's role as a leading institution dedicated to the promotion of Indian Knowledge Systems. Beyond academic partnerships, they represent a shared commitment to preserving, researching, and reimagining India's knowledge traditions for the twenty-first century. By fostering interdisciplinary research, faculty development, experiential learning, innovation, and meaningful public engagement, Sri Sri University is creating pathways through which students, researchers, and educators can explore India's civilizational wisdom in ways that are relevant to contemporary society.

As Indian Knowledge Systems gain increasing recognition within higher education under the National Education Policy, these partnerships position Sri Sri University at the forefront of building an inclusive academic ecosystem where traditional knowledge and modern scholarship complement one another. Through these initiatives, the University continues to nurture future-ready graduates equipped with cultural rootedness, intellectual depth, and a global outlook grounded in India's timeless knowledge heritage.
