While most students unwind during the summer break, a group of 14 spirited final-semester students from the Agriculture Department of Sri Sri University took a bold leap, heading to Bengaluru for a one-of-a-kind internship at the globally renowned Art of Living Ashram. Their mission ? Not just to learn, but to experience, engage and evolve.

Meet the Trailblazers

Introducing Aryashree Tejaswini, Kritika Nayak, Shrabani Rout, Priyadarshini Sahoo, Pragyan Priyadarshini Sahu, Shwetapadma Patra, Arghyadeep Pattnayak, Rishiraj Rout, Meera Swain, Kashis Raju, Satyaprakash Singh, Prachitara Das, Ipsita Nayak and Barsha Priyadarshini Swain - a dynamic collective of thinkers, doers and changemakers. Bound by a shared vision and driven by an insatiable curiosity, this team stands at the forefront of innovation and impact. Each member brings a unique blend of passion, talent and perspective, contributing to a culture of purpose - driven excellence. From exploring uncharted ideas to challenging the status quo, they are united by a common goal: to make a meaningful difference in the world around them. Together, they don’t just follow paths - they forge them. They are the trailblazers who are not only imagining a better future but actively building it.


The Internship Experience

Held under the guidance of the Sri Sri Rural Development Programme (SSRDP), the internship spans from 1st to 26th June, immersing students in real-world exposure to organic farming, green innovation, rural development and solar technology. The team is visiting various organizations and workspaces to deepen their practical understanding of agriculture and sustainability. On World Environment Day, the students joined hands with top YouTube creators from across the country to plant trees and raise environmental awareness in the slum areas and marketplaces of Bengaluru - turning the day into a mission of purpose and pride.


A Divine Encounter with Gurudev

The most cherished moment of their journey came when the students had a personal interaction with Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar himself. Upon learning they had come all the way from Cuttack, Odisha, Gurudev smiled and warmly blessed them, saying: "The spark in your eyes tells me your journey has just begun - and it's going to be beautiful." Vice Chancellor of the university Prof. Tej Partap, Director Operations Swami Satyachaitanya and Dean, Faculty of Agriculture Prof. (Dr.) S. Kumaraswamy extended their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the student team, applauding their commitment and achievement.

With the successful completion of the first phase, the university has announced that more students will be heading to Bengaluru for the second phase of the internship. What began as a summer training has evolved into a story of growth, grit and grace - a true testament to learning beyond classrooms.



'ମାନିବୁନି ବାଧାବନ୍ଧନ, ସ୍ୱପ୍ନ କରିବୁ ପୂରଣ'

ଶ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ କେବଳ ବିଦ୍ୟାର୍ଥୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶିକ୍ଷାଦାନ କରି ନିଜ ଦାୟିତ୍ୱ ସାରିଦିଏ ନାହିଁ । ଅଧିକନ୍ତୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପାଠ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହେବାପରେ ମଧ୍ୟ କିଭଳି ସେମାନେ ଉନ୍ନତ ତଥା ଉତ୍କୃଷ୍ଟ ସଂସ୍ଥାରେ ନିଜ ଇଣ୍ଟର୍ଣ୍ଣଶିପ୍ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରିପାରିବେ, ତାହା ଉପରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ରଖିଥାଏ । ସେଥିପାଇଁ ପାଠ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ବହିର୍ଭୁତ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଉପରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟଟି ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱାରୋପ କରିଥାଏ । ଏହା ବିଦ୍ୟାର୍ଥୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଭବିଷ୍ୟତର ବୃତ୍ତିଗତ ଜୀବନରେ କିଭଳି ସାହାଯ୍ୟ କରିବା, ସେ ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ପଥ ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନ କରିଥାଏ ଶ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ।

ଚଳିତ ଶିକ୍ଷାବର୍ଷର ଗ୍ରୀଷ୍ମାବକାଶ (Summer Vacation)ରେ ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଗତ କୃଷି ବିଭାଗ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଶେଷ ସେମିଷ୍ଟରର ଏକ 14 ଜଣିଆ ଟିମ୍ ପ୍ରଥମ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟାୟରେ ବେଙ୍ଗାଳୁରୁସ୍ଥିତ "ଆର୍ଟ ଅଫ୍ ଲିଭିଂ” ଆଶ୍ରମକୁ ଇଣ୍ଟର୍ଣ୍ଣଶିପ୍ ପାଇଁ ଯାଇଛନ୍ତି । ସେମାନେ ହେଲେ ଆର୍ଯ୍ୟଶ୍ରୀ ତେଜସ୍ୱିନୀ, କ୍ରିତିକା ନାୟକ, ଶ୍ରାବଣୀ ରାଉତ, ପ୍ରିୟଦର୍ଶିନୀ ସାହୁ, ପ୍ରଜ୍ଞା ପ୍ରିୟଦର୍ଶିନୀ ସାହୁ, ଶ୍ୱେତପଦ୍ମା ପାତ୍ର, ଅର୍ଘ୍ୟଦୀପ ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକ, ରିଷିରାଜ ରାଉତ, ମୀରା ସ୍ୱାଇଁ, କାଶିସ୍ ରାଜୁ, ସତ୍ୟପ୍ରକାଶ ସିଂ, ପ୍ରାଚୀତାରା ଦାସ, ଇପସିତା ନାୟକ ଏବଂ ବର୍ଷା ପ୍ରିୟଦର୍ଶିନୀ ସ୍ୱାଇଁ । ସେଠାରେ ସେମାନେ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ବିଷୟରେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ଜ୍ଞାନ ଆହରଣ କରିବା ସାଙ୍ଗକୁ ଅଭିଜ୍ଞତା ମଧ୍ୟ ଅର୍ଜନ କରୁଛନ୍ତି ।

ଏହି ଇଣ୍ଟର୍ଣ୍ଣଶିପ୍ ଅବଧି ଜୁନ୍ 1 ତାରିଖରୁ 26 ତାରିଖ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ପ୍ରାୟ ଏକମାସ ଧରି ଚାଲିବାକୁ ଥିବାବେଳେ ସେମାନେ ଉକ୍ତ ସମୟ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ସଂସ୍ଥା ଓ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାଳୟ ବୁଲି ଦେଖିବା ସହ ଅଧିକ ଜ୍ଞାନ ଆହରଣ କରିବାର ସୁଯୋଗ ପାଉଥିବା ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିଛନ୍ତି । ଏହି କ୍ରମରେ ସେମାନେ ‘ପର୍ମା ଅର୍ଗାନିକ୍ ଫାର୍ମିଂ’ ବୁଲି ଦେଖିଥିଲେ । ବିଶ୍ୱ ପରିବେଶ ଦିବସରେ ଦେଶର ବଛା ବଛା ୟୁଟ୍ୟୁବ୍ କ୍ରିଏଟରମାନଙ୍କ ସହ ମିଶି ବୃକ୍ଷରୋପଣ କରିବା ସହ ବେଙ୍ଗାଳୁରୁର ବସ୍ତି ଓ ବଜାର ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ସଚେତନତା ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିଥିଲେ । “ଶ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ରୁରାଲ୍ ଡେଭଲପମେଣ୍ଟ ଟ୍ରଷ୍ଟ” (ଏସଏସଆରଡିପି) ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଉକ୍ତ ଇଣ୍ଟର୍ଣ୍ଣଶିପ୍ ଟିମ୍ ସଦସ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେଠାକାର ଅଗ୍ରଣୀ ସୋଲାର ପ୍ୟାନେଲ କମ୍ପାନୀଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ବୁଲାଇବାକୁ ନିଆଯାଉଛି ।

ଏହି ଟିମ୍ ସଦସ୍ୟମାନେ ଆର୍ଟ ଅଫ୍ ଲିଭିଂ ଆଶ୍ରମରେ ଗୁରୁଦେବ ଶ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ରବିଶଙ୍କରଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଭେଟିଥିଲେ । ସେମାନେ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର କଟକରୁ ଆସିଥିବା କଥା ଶୁଣି ଗୁରୁଦେବ ଆନନ୍ଦିତ ହେବାସହ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରିଥିଲେ । ଏଥିସହ ଆଗାମୀ ବୃତ୍ତିଗତ ଜୀବନରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସଫଳତା କାମନା କରିଥିଲେ । ଶ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟର କୁଳପତି ପ୍ରଫେସର ତେଜପ୍ରତାପ, କାର୍ମିକ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶକ ସ୍ୱାମୀ ସତ୍ୟଚୈତନ୍ୟ ଓ କୃଷି ବିଭାଗ ଡିନ୍ ପ୍ରଫେସର (ଡ.) ଏସ୍. କୁମାରସ୍ୱାମୀ ପ୍ରମୁଖ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସଫଳତା କାମନା କରିଛନ୍ତି । ପ୍ରଥମ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟାୟର ସଫଳ ସମାପନ ପରେ ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟାୟରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଆଉ କିଛି ବିଦ୍ୟାର୍ଥୀ ବେଙ୍ଗାଳୁରୁ ଯିବେ ବୋଲି ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ସୂଚନା ଦିଆଯାଇଛି ।
