(श्रीमती) रजिता कुलकर्णी ने DIGII 100 समिट 2025 के अंतर्गत आयोजित एक महत्वपूर्ण राउंड टेबल चर्चा में सक्रिय सहभागिता दर्ज की। इस उच्चस्तरीय सत्र का विषय था, “पॉलिसी ऐज़ द कैटलिस्ट: शेपिंग डिजिटल एक्सीलेंस इन हायर एजुकेशन”, जिसमें देश के अग्रणी शिक्षा नेतृत्वकर्ता, नीति-निर्माता, नियामक संस्थानों के प्रतिनिधि, वरिष्ठ सरकारी अधिकारी तथा उद्योग जगत के विशेषज्ञ एक साझा मंच पर एकत्र हुए। चर्चा का केंद्रबिंदु यह रहा कि किस प्रकार डिजिटल उत्कृष्टता, प्रौद्योगिकी और नवाचार को प्रभावी रूप से अपनाकर उच्च शिक्षा को विकसित भारत के लक्ष्य की प्राप्ति का एक सशक्त माध्यम बनाया जा सकता है। प्रो. कुलकर्णी ने इस संदर्भ में अत्यंत व्यावहारिक और दूरदर्शी दृष्टिकोण प्रस्तुत किया।

    अपने संबोधन में उन्होंने उच्च शिक्षा में प्रवेश लेने वाले विद्यार्थियों की तेज़ी से बढ़ती संख्या की ओर ध्यान आकर्षित करते हुए कहा कि यह समय संस्थागत क्षमता निर्माण पर गंभीरता से कार्य करने का है। उन्होंने इस बात पर बल दिया कि केवल बुनियादी ढाँचे का विस्तार ही पर्याप्त नहीं, बल्कि शिक्षा की गुणवत्ता, डिजिटल सक्षमता और मानव संसाधन विकास पर समान रूप से ध्यान देना अनिवार्य है। प्रो. कुलकर्णी ने शैक्षणिक पाठ्यक्रमों के साथ कौशल विकास एवं अप्रेंटिसशिप को एकीकृत करने की आवश्यकता को विशेष रूप से रेखांकित किया। उनके अनुसार, यह समन्वय न केवल विद्यार्थियों को रोजगारोन्मुख बनाएगा, बल्कि भारत की वैश्विक प्रतिभा नेतृत्व क्षमता को भी नई ऊँचाइयों तक ले जाएगा।

    उन्होंने यह भी स्पष्ट किया कि आज की जटिल चुनौतियों का समाधान किसी एक क्षेत्र द्वारा संभव नहीं है। इसके लिए एक समावेशी, बहु-हितधारक एवं बहु-क्षेत्रीय पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र का निर्माण समय की माँग है, ऐसा पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र जिसमें शिक्षा संस्थान, उद्योग और सरकार परस्पर सहयोग के साथ कार्य करें और समेकित एवं सहयोगात्मक परिणाम सुनिश्चित किए जा सकें। अपने विचारों को समेटते हुए प्रो. कुलकर्णी ने दोहराया कि श्री श्री विश्वविद्यालय भविष्यदृष्टि वाली शिक्षा नीतियों के निर्माण के लिए निरंतर प्रतिबद्ध है। उनका मानना है कि सही नीति, सशक्त डिजिटल ढाँचे और मूल्य-आधारित नेतृत्व के माध्यम से भारत न केवल विश्व की प्रतिभा राजधानी बन सकता है, बल्कि नेतृत्व और नवाचार का एक वैश्विक केंद्र बनकर भी उभर सकता है। वास्तविक क्या महान विचारधारा है !

In this spirit, Prof. (Mrs.) Rajita Kulkarni, Chancellor of Sri Sri University, actively participated in a significant round-table discussion organized as part of the DIGII 100 Summit 2025. The high-level session, titled “Policy as the Catalyst: Shaping Digital Excellence in Higher Education,” brought together leading educationists, policymakers, representatives of regulatory bodies, senior government officials and industry experts from across the country on a common platform. The central focus of the discussion was how digital excellence, technology and innovation can be effectively leveraged to make higher education a powerful enabler in achieving the vision of a Developed India. In this context, Prof. Kulkarni presented a highly pragmatic and forward-looking perspective.

        In her address, she drew attention to the rapidly increasing number of students entering higher education and emphasized that this is a crucial moment to invest seriously in institutional capacity building. She stressed that expanding physical infrastructure alone is not sufficient; equal focus must be placed on quality of education, digital readiness and human resource development. Prof. Kulkarni strongly highlighted the need to integrate skill development and apprenticeships with academic curricula. According to her, this integration will not only enhance student employability but also strengthen India’s global leadership in talent development.

        She further emphasized that the complex challenges of today cannot be addressed by any single sector alone.
