श्री श्री विश्वविद्यालय का श्रुति कोर्टयार्ड़, उस दिन जैसे अपने भीतर किसी अदृश्य ऊर्जा को संजोए हुए था। हवा में एक गूँज थी किंचित प्रतीक्षा की, किंचित उत्साह की और बहुत अधिक गर्व की। 19 नवंबर 2025 की वह शाम विश्वविद्यालय इतिहास में दर्ज होने वाली थी, क्योंकि कलीम्पिक्स-10.0 का भव्य समापन होने जा रहा था। सितंबर महिने से चले आ रहे खेल महोत्सव का अंतिम पड़ाव था वह, परंतु वातावरण किसी विदाई जैसा कदापि नहीं था; बल्कि वह एक नई शुरुआत के स्वागत-संगीत से भरा था।

और जब मंच पर अंतरराष्ट्रीय बॉडी बिल्डिंग चैंपियन, मिस्टर एशिया और मिस्टर वर्ल्ड श्री अमित भुयाँ आए, तो पूरे कोर्टयार्ड़ की धड़कन कुछ ही पल को जैसे स्थिर हो गई। साधारणतः समारोहों में भाषणों का अपना एक निश्चित प्रारूप होता है, लेकिन अमित भुयाँ का पहला वाक्य उस साँचे को तोड़ते हुए सीधे विद्यार्थीओं के दिल में उतर गया। उन्होंने कहा, “मैं लोहे उठाने वाला इंसान हूँ, भाषण कैसे दिया जाता है, क्या कहा जाता है, यह सब ज़्यादा नहीं जानता।” उनकी आवाज़ में वह सीधापन था जो केवल मेहनत की आँच पर तपे हुए लोग ही संजो पाते हैं। ऐसा लगा जैसे हर शब्द मानो जिम के फर्श पर पसीने की बूंदों के साथ ढलकर आया हो। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि उनका पूरा जीवन खेल के इर्द-गिर्द रहा है, इसलिए अगर बोलने में कोई त्रुटि हो जाए तो सब क्षमा करें। फिर उनके शब्दों में वह दृढ़ता उमड़ पड़ी जिसने उन्हें वैश्विक मंच पर पहुँचा दिया, “मेहनत करते रहो, पैसा अपने आप आ जाएगा। पैसे कमाना कोई बड़ी बात नहीं, लेकिन सम्मान अर्जित करना ही सबसे बड़ी बात है।”

उनके ये शब्द सिर्फ एक प्रेरक पंक्ति नहीं थे, वे असंख्य युवा दिलों के लिए वह चिंगारी थे जो अपने-अपने जीवन के अखाड़ों में संघर्षरत थे। मैदान में बैठा हर छात्र, हर स्टाफ सदस्य, हर प्रतिभागी जैसे अपने भीतर किसी नई ऊर्जा का संचार महसूस कर रहा था।

कलीम्पिक्स-10.0 केवल एक खेल आयोजन नहीं था, यह एक महामहोत्सव था, एक ऐसा उत्सव जिसमें शरीर, मन और भावनाएँ तीनों एक साथ भाग ले रहे थे। यह आयोजन महीनों पहले, सितंबर की सुहानी सुबहों से शुरू हुआ था, जहाँ पहली सीटी के साथ क्रिकेट के मैदान में जोश भरी दौड़ लगी थी। इसके बाद कबड्डी के दंगल से लेकर बास्केटबॉल की टकराहट, फूटसाल की तेज़ पासिंग, थ्रो-बॉल और वॉलीबॉल की आतुर स्पर्धाएँ, खो-खो के रोमांचक पीछा-धप्पा, दौड़ की साँसें बाँध देने वाली स्पर्धाएँ, शॉट-पुट और डिस्कस थ्रो की ताक़त भरी उछालें, और बैडमिंटन के तेज़ रैकेट-स्ट्रोक प्रत्येक खेल अपने आप में एक कहानी बन गया। इन खेलों के बीच इंडोर जगत की शांति भी कम रोचक नहीं थी। टेबल टेनिस की टक-टक, कैरम की स्ट्राइकर की सटीक टक्कर और शतरंज की बौद्धिक चालों ने कलीम्पिक्स को पूर्णता दी।

सबसे सुंदर तथ्य यह था कि इस आयोजन में केवल विद्यार्थी ही नहीं, बल्कि फैकल्टी, सिक्योरिटी स्टाफ, मेस स्टाफ और सपोर्ट स्टाफ तक कुल 1122 प्रतिभागी एक ही मंच पर अपनी ऊर्जा का प्रदर्शन कर रहे थे। यह किसी विश्वविद्यालय के लिए एक सामान्य उपलब्धि नहीं होती। यह उस संस्थान की संस्कृति का प्रमाण था जो “सबको साथ लेकर चलने” की भावना को दिल से जीता है। मैदान में विद्यार्थी का उत्साह और स्टाफ की सहभागिता मिलकर एक ऐसा दृश्य रचते थे जो विश्वविद्यालय को मात्र शिक्षा का केंद्र नहीं, बल्कि एक जीवंत, धड़कता हुआ समुदाय बना देता था।

समापन समारोह में जब 29 विजेताओं (एकक और दलगत) के नाम मंच से पुकारे गए, तो जो दृश्य सामने आया वह किसी उत्सव से कम नहीं था। विजेताओं की आँखों में चमक, उनकी टीमों के जयकारे, दर्शकों की तालियाँ सब मिलकर जैसे एक क्षणिक महासूर्य बन गए। हर नाम के साथ हवा में नई ऊष्मा घुल जाती और श्रुति कोर्टयार्ड़ का हर कोना उस खुशी की तरंगों को महसूस करता। आयोजकों के चेहरों पर थकान और संतोष का दुर्लभ संगम दिखाई देता था। इतने बड़े आयोजन को सफल बनाना आसान नहीं था, किन्तु विश्वविद्यालय की क्रीड़ा समिति ने सिद्ध कर दिया कि “जहाँ चाह, वहाँ राह” केवल एक कहावत नहीं, बल्कि एक जीने योग्य सत्य है।

समारोह में छात्र कल्याण विभाग के डीन डॉ. जयप्रकाश भट्ट ने मंच से अतिथियों का स्वागत करते हुए सभी प्रतिभागियों को उनके साहस और जज़्बे के लिए बधाई दी। प्रोफेसर डॉ. केशरी सिंह ने अपने सम्बोधन में कहा कि जितना हमेशा हमारे नियंत्रण में नहीं होता, लेकिन मेहनत करना पूरी तरह हमारे बस में है। यह वाक्य मानो प्रत्येक विद्यार्थी के मन में एक नया सूत्र छोड़ गया, “परिश्रम वह बीज है जिससे सफलता का पेड़ उगता है।” उन्होंने अगली वर्ष की तैयारी के लिए सभी को प्रेरित किया और कहा कि कभी अपने प्रयासों को अधूरा न छोड़ें।

लेकिन इस शाम का सबसे भावनात्मक क्षण तब आया जब विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति प्रोफेसर डॉ. तेजप्रताप ने अपनी बेटी उत्तरा से जुड़ी एक कहानी साझा की। कहानी किसी प्रतियोगिता की नहीं, बल्कि आत्मविश्वास के बीज से उपजे चमत्कार की थी। उन्होंने बताया कि काठमांडू के ब्रिटिश स्कूल में आयोजित एक दौड़ प्रतियोगिता में उनकी बेटी ने हिस्सा लिया था। वह कोई प्रशिक्षित एथलीट नहीं थी, न ही वह दौड़ की चैंपियन थी, लेकिन उसके पास एक अदृश्य शक्ति थी, स्वयं पर विश्वास। उसका लक्ष्य जीतना नहीं था, उसका लक्ष्य केवल इतना था कि वह अंतिम पड़ाव तक बिना रुके पहुँचे। वह एक-एक राउंड पार करती गई- पहला, दूसरा, तीसरा, चौथा… और अंत में, अपने अटूट हौसले के कारण वह न केवल अंतिम राउंड तक पहुँची, बल्कि प्रथम स्थान भी प्राप्त किया। यह कहानी सुनते ही सभा में एक गहरा मौन छा गया, एक ऐसा मौन जो प्रेरणा से जन्म लेता है। यह कहानी जैसे एक सीख थी कि जीत अक्सर शुरुआत में दिखाई नहीं देती, वह धीरे-धीरे चलकर अंत में उन लोगों तक पहुँचती है जो कभी हार नहीं मानते।

इस मेगा आयोजन की सफलता के पीछे कई नेतृत्व के स्तंभ थे। कुलाध्यक्षा प्रोफेसर रजिता कुलकर्णी ने खेलों को विश्वविद्यालय संस्कृति का अभिन्न हिस्सा बताते हुए आयोजकों के जुनून की सराहना की। कार्यनिर्वाही कुलसचिव डॉ. अनिल कुमार शर्मा और कार्मिक निर्देशक स्वामी सत्यचैतन्य ने भी पूरी क्रीड़ा समिति की गंभीर मेहनत को सम्मानित किया। इस पूरे महोत्सव के आवाहक श्री पूर्णचन्द्र पण्डा ने अंत में सभी अतिथियों, प्रतिभागियों और पर्दे के पीछे कार्यरत कर्मियों को हृदय से धन्यवाद देते हुए कलीम्पिक्स-10.0 को “अत्यंत सफल और यादगार” घोषित किया।

कलीम्पिक्स-10.0 का समापन सिर्फ एक समारोह का समापन नहीं था, यह उस सिद्धांत का प्रमाण था कि जब एक समुदाय “सिद्धत” यानी ईमानदार इच्छा और निरंतर प्रयास के साथ आगे बढ़ता है, तो असंभव भी संभव बन जाता है। मैदान में गूँजती तालियों, लौटते कदमों और चमकती आँखों के बीच ऐसा लगा जैसे यह आयोजन समाप्त नहीं हुआ, बल्कि एक नए अध्याय की शुरुआत लिख गया हो। और उस अध्याय के शीर्ष पर बड़े अक्षरों में लिखा था: सिद्धत से चाहो, तो कोई भी मंज़िल दूर नहीं।

A Tale Woven with Grit, Sweat and Dreams

The Shruti Courtyard of Sri Sri University seemed to hold an almost invisible pulse that day a quiet thrill humming through the air, filled with anticipation, excitement and above all a profound sense of pride. The evening of November 19, 2025 was destined to be etched into the history of the university, for it marked the grand culmination of Collympics 10.0. Though it was officially the final chapter of a sports festival that had begun in the month of September, the atmosphere felt nothing like an ending. Instead, it resonated with the music of new beginnings.

When international bodybuilding champion, Mr. Asia and Mr. World Amit Bhuyan walked onto the stage as the Chief Guest, the heartbeat of the entire courtyard seemed to pause for a moment. Ceremonial speeches often follow a predictable pattern, but his opening words shattered that pattern in an instant. He began with disarming simplicity: “I am a man who lifts iron, I don’t really know how to give speeches or what exactly to say.” His voice carried the raw honesty that only those molded by fire and discipline can hold. Every word felt like it had been forged with the same intensity as the sweat that falls on gym floors. He continued, saying that his entire life had revolved around sports and that if he stumbled while speaking, he hoped everyone would forgive him. By this, he added, “Keep working hard and money will follow. Earning money is not a big deal, earning respect is the real achievement.”

These words were not just inspirational, they were sparks flung into the hearts of hundreds of young dreamers seated before him, each fighting their own unseen battles. Students, faculty members, staff and athletes alike felt a renewed surge of energy within themselves as though someone had gently turned up the flame of their inner drive.

Collympics 10.0 was more than just a sports meet. It was a magnificent festival, one where the body and mind danced together. The festival had begun months ago, with the first whistle on the cricket ground sending players sprinting across the field with electrifying enthusiasm. What followed was a glorious chain of contests, kabaddi duels echoing with raw strength, the rhythmic clash of basketball shoes on the court, the swift passes of futsal, the soaring arcs of throw-ball and volleyball, the breathless chase in kho-kho, the explosive power of shot put and discus throw, the swift rallies of badminton and the countless races that held the spectators’ breaths captive. Amid all this high-voltage energy, the indoor arenas added their own charm. The crisp tap-tap of table tennis rallies, the sharp strike of carrom pieces gliding across the board and the intensely thoughtful moves of chess matches contributed to a balanced and beautifully complete celebration of sportsmanship.

One of the most remarkable aspects of the festival was the inclusiveness of its participants. It wasn’t just the students who stepped into the arena. Faculty members, security staff, mess staff, and support staff- all came together, creating a vibrant community of 1122 participants united by a shared passion. Such a vast collaborative effort is not something one sees every day in an academic institution. It spoke volumes about the culture of Sri Sri University, one that truly lives the philosophy of walking together, growing together. In those moments, the campus felt less like an institution and more like a pulsating, breathing community bound by a single heartbeat.

As the names of the 29 winners (individual and team-based) were announced during the closing ceremony, the courtyard transformed into a galaxy of cheers and shining eyes. Each name triggered a fresh wave of enthusiasm, as teammates leapt in joy, friends shouted in celebration and applause echoed across the courtyard like a burst of sunlight. The organizers, visibly drained yet glowing with accomplishment, wore the rare expression of those who have poured their hearts out and finally tasted success. Organizing an event of such magnitude is never easy, but the Sports Committee of SSU proved that “Where there is will, there is a way” is not merely a proverb - it is a living, breathing truth.

During the ceremony, the Dean of Student Welfare, Dr. J. P. Bhatt, welcomed the dignitaries and congratulated every participant for their courage and spirit. Professor Dr. Keshari Singh, in her address, reminded the audience that while winning is not always in our hands, hard work certainly is. Her words left a lasting imprint,“Effort is the seed from which the tree of success grows.” She urged everyone to prepare for next year with even greater determination and never leave any endeavor half-heartedly.

But perhaps the most touching moment of the evening arrived when the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Tej Partap, shared a personal story about his daughter, Uttara. It was not a tale of medals or accolades, but of quiet confidence and the magic it can create. He recounted how Uttara once participated in a running race at her school days in Kathmandu. She wasn’t a trained athlete, nor was she known as a champion runner. But she possessed one invaluable strength- self-belief. Her goal was not to win, her goal was simply to finish, to endure until the final lap without giving up. She crossed one round, then the next, then another… and finally, fueled by her unwavering determination, she not only reached the last lap but finished first. The courtyard fell into a profound silence, which born not of emptiness but of deep inspiration. It was a reminder that victory rarely reveals itself at the beginning, it walks quietly beside those who refuse to quit.

The success of this mega event was backed by strong pillars of leadership. The University President, Professor Rajita Kulkarni, applauded the passion with which the entire organizing team had upheld the sporting values of SSU. The Executive Registrar, Dr. Anil Kumar Sharma and the Director Operations, Swami Satyachaitanya also expressed heartfelt appreciation for the dedicated efforts of every committee member. The Convenor of the Sports Committee, Mr. Purnachandra Panda, concluded the evening by extending warm gratitude to all guests, participants and the silent heroes working behind the scenes, proudly declaring Collympics 10.0 as “extraordinarily successful and unforgettable.”

Yet, as the ceremony drew to a close and applause echoed across the courtyard, it became clear that this was not an ending at all. Collympics 10.0 stood as a shining testament to one powerful truth, when a community walks forward with sincerity, with unwavering commitment, with pure determination- then nothing, absolutely nothing, remains impossible. As footsteps echoed into the night and victorious smiles lit up the pathways, it felt as though the festival had written the first lines of a new chapter. And at the top of that chapter in bold shining letters was written: “When you desire with sincerity, no destination is ever out of reach.”
